A writer for hire for over 30 years, and honored as a "Freelance Success" in Writers Digest magazine, Gil Mansergh has written several thousand articles and over 60 books, manuals or curriculums.

In addition to writing pieces for Suite 101, Gil currently has two radio shows ("Cinema Toast" and "Word By Word: Conversations With Writers") two syndicated newspaper columns ("Cinema Toast" and "Screenings"), and a New York Times affiliated movie blog "Cinema Toast."

A contributor to books for international business travelers, Gil wrote the "Business Culture" sections for 30 of the 174 countries in the famous "Global Road Warrior" guides, and the “50 Top Trading Nation Document Requirements” section of a bestselling book with the catchy title: "A Short Course in International Trade Documentation."

And as Gilbert P. Mansergh, MA, CPhil, he is a respected psychological educator who creates and presents curriculums as varied as a Role-Playing, Sexuality Education program for teens for the YWCA-USA, and post-doctorate, continuing education, movie-based, seminars for licensed psychologists on topics like: “Ethics and the Law,” “Parenting Teens,” “Spousal/Partner Abuse,” “Aging and Sexuality,” “Anger, Grief and Loss,” and “Humor Joy and Laughter.”

Gil has the Jack London Award from the California Writers Club and is President Emeritus of their Redwood Branch.
